In The Division 2 there are maintenance works again today, on September 25, but this time only on the PS4. This is now the 3rd maintenance this week. The reason for this might disappoint some agents. Find out everything about the process, the server downtime, and the patch notes here.
What is the maintenance about? Actually, The Division 2 has already had 2 extended maintenance sessions this week. On Tuesday, Title Update 11 including the new Season 3 was released. On Thursday, there was an emergency maintenance to fix some of the most annoying bugs from the new patch.
And now there is another emergency maintenance today, on Friday. Unlike the previous dates, this will take place on only one platform – on the PlayStation 4. This was announced by Massive 1 hour before the start of the downtime on Twitter.
This is the process of the maintenance
Pay attention to these times today: The times are a little different from what you are normally used to:
- The maintenance starts at 1:15 PM German time
- At the same time, the servers go offline, the downtime begins
- The maintenance is expected to take one hour, during which you will not be able to play The Division 2 on PS4
- By around 2:15 PM German time, the servers should be back online
- When the downtime ends, the maintenance ends as well
Keep in mind: These times, especially the end of maintenance, may shift. This has been frequent lately. If anything changes in today’s process, we will update this article accordingly.
What is the reason for the maintenance? The patch notes say
This is changing today: The reason for the emergency maintenance might disappoint some. Because even after yesterday’s maintenance, numerous annoying bugs and issues in the game remain, such as
- the infinite loop during the seasonal intro that cannot be skipped
- equipped mods that suddenly change their attributes or functions
- active skills that suddenly become invisible
- the blinking SHD watch
- or various bugs in The Summit
According to Massive, these will be addressed in the coming days or as quickly as possible, but they are not the reason for today’s maintenance.
Today, a problem is being fixed that prevents players from playing or continuing The Division 2 during the currently ongoing free weekend, as the restrictions of the trial version have falsely applied.
