Recently, entries for new Gear Sets were found in The Division 2 . Two of them sound really strong, but have not yet been found in the game. Will they come with the 2nd Raid?
What are Gear Sets? Gear Sets are particularly powerful equipment sets that unlock significant bonuses as more pieces are equipped. These effects are intended to promote and support certain playstyles.
What are the new Gear Sets about? Before the release of the Warlords expansion, there were 6 such Gear Sets. With Warlords of New York, 4 more Gear Sets seem to have been added. However, only 2 of them have been found in the game so far – Striker’s Battlegear and System Corruption, which became available with Season 1.
However, there are also entries for 2 more Gear Sets that have really strong bonuses:
- Future Initiative
- and Foundry Bullwark
How and when they will be available in the game is not officially known yet. However, a well-known Division expert already has a plausible suspicion.
These are the 2 Gear Sets in question
Where does the information come from? The entries themselves come from the updated “Gear Attribute Spreadsheet” on the “official” wiki of the Division 2 subreddit, where the community collects all its resources.
Although this information is not always official, it is considered highly reliable within the community. The subreddit and the wiki are also maintained by JokerUnique, who seems to have a good connection to the developers and apparently gets a lot of information directly from them. He himself and his information are also considered very reliable. Therefore, many users regard this information as basically secure.

This is what the Foundry Bullwark Set can do:
- Set Bonus with 2 pieces: +10% total armor
- Set Bonus with 3 pieces: +3% armor per second
- Set Bonus with 4 pieces: You gain the talent “Makeshift Repairs.” When your health or shield takes damage, you receive 40% of the damage as healing over the next 10 seconds. The regeneration counts for armor and health.
Additionally, there are 2 supportive talents:
- Backpack Talent Process Refinery – The effect of Makeshift Repairs now only takes 6 seconds instead of 10 seconds for the healing.
- The talent on the vest ensures that you receive 60% of the damage as healing instead of 40%.
What makes Foundry Bullwark strong? This is a set designed for tanks. It allows you to take a lot of damage and is perfect for frontline fighters, as you can effectively heal continuously with a slight delay and have a significant armor regeneration.
This is what the Future Initiative Set can do:
- Set Bonus with 2 pieces: +15% skill repair
- Set Bonus with 3 pieces: +15% skill duration / +15% cooldown reduction
- Set Bonus with 4 pieces: You benefit from the talent Ground Control. At full armor, you and your allies gain +15% extra weapon and skill damage. Additionally, if you heal a team member, you and all allies within 5 meters will receive 60% of that healing.
Additionally, there are 2 supportive talents:
- Backpack Talent Strategic Combat Support: The healing in the 5-meter radius increases from 60% to 120%.
- The talent on the vest ensures that the damage bonus from Ground Control increases from 15% to 25%.
What makes Future Initiative strong? This set is specifically tailored for the healer role with group support abilities. Cautious play is rewarded; you can effectively heal (even the entire team) and also provide your allies with a strong damage buff.
Will these 2 new Gear Sets be loot in the 2nd Raid?
What do these 2 Gear Sets have to do with the new raid? While many agents are already looking forward to these promising-sounding sets, they have not been found in the game so far.
However, the well-known YouTuber and respected Division expert Epic Slay3rs strongly believes that these sets could be introduced with the new 2nd Raid.
What Epic Slay3rs says in favor of the raid as a source: On the one hand, he draws a parallel to the first raid Operation: Dark Hours. There, I also received new Gear Sets alongside an exclusive Exotic.
On the other hand, it is expected that the 2nd raid of The Division 2 could be released soon, which was postponed to 2020. Since the other two Gear Sets from Warlords are already in the game, it is quite likely that these two sets could then be part of the loot in the new raid.
Another hint is provided by the name of one set. This matches the name of the 2nd raid. The new raid will be called Foundry Raid – so the Foundry Bullwark fits well in terms of naming.
