Developer Massive has announced server maintenance for the Private Beta of The Division 2, where the infamous “Delta 03” error could be fixed. The maintenance will run in the morning on Friday, February 8.
This has happened: Since the beta started on February 7 at 10 AM, more and more issues have occurred. In addition to some players, who were banned due to a technical error, there is also a sound bug that can only be bypassed via a workaround on PC.
However, the most serious issue is the “Delta 03” error, which is preventing many beta participants from playing. Delta errors are old acquaintances for Division veterans and were a common problem in The Division 1. Now, Massive has announced server maintenance that aims to address this issue.
Update 1:30 PM: The servers are back online.
Update, February 8, 12:21 PM: The server maintenance is expected to last until at least 1 PM. In the meantime, there was a patch for PC and PS4.
What’s in the patch: In Ubisoft Forum the patch notes have been released. The patch actually addresses several bugs, including the Delta error. Here are the patch notes summarized:
- For PS4 players, it might take a bit longer to install the patch despite the small download size
- Several sources of the “Delta 03” error are said to have been fixed
- The sound bug should no longer occur
- On PC and PS4, the game should no longer crash when accepting a group invitation outside of the game
