Massive has just announced an unscheduled server downtime for today, Friday, March 29th. In the afternoon, you will have to forgo post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. for a while.
These are the important times today, March 29th:
- At 3 PM, Massive will perform a server restart. After that, you will not be able to log in. If you are still in the game, you will be kicked out.
- The downtime is expected to last about 30 minutes. If everything goes as planned, you should be able to play again around 3:30 PM.
If Massive doesn’t bring the servers online in time, we will update the article.
Will there be changes today?
This is changing today: According to Massive, the server restart should fix occasional server crashes.
In other words, after the server restart, server performance should be better. There are no gameplay changes announced.

Yesterday, on March 28th, scheduled maintenance took place. Massive implemented some improvements and bug fixes. The servers were down for about three hours. Now there are the next downtimes.
After the turbulent days following the release, during which there were several unscheduled maintenance sessions per week to fix annoying issues like the skill bug, the servers have been stable for about a week. The last unscheduled maintenance was on March 22 – so a week ago.
