Today, on March 22, the servers for The Division 2, are down. Massive is conducting maintenance. Here are the patch notes in German as well as all the information about the server status.
Massive is performing unplanned maintenance today, Friday. They managed to create fixes for three issues that they will be implementing now. As a result, the servers will be down for several hours.
The announcement just came in. A server down countdown is now running in the game.
These are the important times today, March 22:
- At 9:30 AM, the servers will be shut down. You will not be able to log in. If you are in the game, you will be kicked.
- By around 12:30 PM, the server downtime should be over. According to Massive, the maintenance will last about 3 hours.
If the servers come back online later than expected, we will update this article.
Patch Notes Today – What Changes
These 3 issues will be fixed:
- An issue is being fixed where players did not earn Clan XP. You can read all the information about the clan system here.
- An issue is being fixed where daily and weekly resets did not occur properly when players were offline during the reset time.
- An issue is being fixed where players lost “Guiding Missions” and access to “Guiding-Missions-NPCs,” preventing them from making further progress. This problem primarily occurred when you were playing in a group. This refers to missions like “Talk to xy in the Campus Settlement” or similar.
Last Wednesday, the developers stated in the State of the Game (all information here) that they want to fix the most urgent issues before delivering new content, such as World Tier 5. The core player experience should be as optimal as possible for everyone.
They mentioned that they currently need to find a balance between “fixing issues as quickly as possible” and “keeping the servers online.” This is likely why the planned maintenance on March 21 was canceled.
Now that new fixes are ready, we are likely one step closer to World Tier 5. However, when it will go live is still unknown.
