A new trailer for The Division 2 has been released for Gamescom 2018. Watch it here in German.
As part of Gamescom 2018, Ubisoft released a fresh trailer for The Division 2. It is labeled by Ubisoft as a gameplay trailer, but there isn’t much gameplay to be seen as one might expect. You can see the landscape and some agents from in-game footage.

What is the trailer about?
The events in The Division 2 begin seven months after the outbreak of the deadly virus. While New York was the scene of events in The Division 1, the agents are drawn to the capital, Washington D.C., in The Division.
Content of the trailer: In the trailer, a narrator poses the question of how all this could happen. Washington is said to be the safest capital, better prepared for such a pandemic than any other. Regardless of what caused the chaos in Washington, the Division agents are fighting back, according to the narrator. The crucial moment has come. If the Division fails, the nation will finally fall apart.
In the background, there are likely in-game scenes of the devastated capital. Finally, the trailer notes that by pre-ordering The Division 2, you can gain access to a private beta.

What is The Division 2 actually about?
After the outbreak of the deadly virus, chaos spread worldwide. That’s why the Division, a unit of sleeper agents, was activated to restore order. They are to save what is left. In The Division, you play as one such Division agent.
In The Division 2, you must save Washington D.C., the capital of the USA, and thus the entire nation from collapse.
The Division 2 will be an online open-world game that combines shooter elements with RPG elements. You can play either solo or cooperatively in a group of up to 4 players. There will be PvE and PvP elements.
