The launch of the Warlords expansion for The Division 2 has been a while ago, but 2 new Exotics from the addon are still not in the game. We show which items are involved, explain where they are, and highlight what makes them special.
Players miss 2 new Exotics: With the major Year 2 expansion Warlords of New York, a total of 10 new Exotics were supposed to be introduced in The Division 2. But almost 2 months after the launch of the addon, 2 new Exos apparently still cannot be found or obtained.
These include the weapons
- Regulus, a pistol
- and The Ravenous, a rifle
Many players are therefore wondering whether the weapons are already in the game, as well as when and how to finally obtain the two missing firearms.
What about the 2 missing Exotics?
When will these Exotics come? Recently, the developers actually clarified the situation, but that happened only incidentally in a short comment on a tweet. Apparently, many agents did not notice it.
Nikki Kuppens, the Senior Game Designer of The Division 2, confirmed that both Exos are not yet in the game and thus not obtainable. He also confirmed upon request that both Exotics are exclusive loot from the 2nd raid.
So they will be included in the new raid. However, how exactly to obtain them there remains unclear – drops or from crates like the Eagle Bearer in the first raid Operation: Dark Hours are suspected. However, both a set drop and a random drop are considered possible by some.
When is the new raid coming? Recently, the developers stated “in Spring”. Some are therefore hoping for a release in the next 4 weeks.
However, some statements also indicated that the 2nd raid might come in June, so only at the end of Spring. So it could be that we have to wait up to 8 weeks for the release. However, more information could come in the next weeks.
What can the 2 missing weapon Exotics do?
What makes Regulus special: Although the pistol Regulus is not yet available in the game, there is already some footage. The exotic talent of the weapon is also known.
The unique property of the exotic pistol is called Regicide. Headshot kills with this weapon inflict 400% weapon damage and cause a bleeding effect on enemies within a radius of 5 meters around the downed target.
What makes The Ravenous special: The Ravenous is an exotic rifle – but with 2 barrels. The special talent is already known through data mining, and some footage has apparently already surfaced.
The Ravenous is defined by the unique talent Geri and Freki. When pulling the trigger, both barrels of the weapon are fired initially.
When shooting with The Ravenous from the right shoulder, hits will apply offensive primers to the affected enemies. When firing from the left shoulder, they are defensive primers. Subsequent hits from one shoulder will detonate the primers set when firing from the other shoulder.
Upon detonation, each offensive primer inflicts 75% weapon damage. Each defensive primer grants +2% bonus armor for 5 seconds. Additionally, the effectiveness of the primers is doubled at 10 stacks.
