On April 5, a major update for The Division 2 was rolled out to the servers. We have the highlights from the latest patch for you.
Endgame is coming: The first content update for The Division 2 brings new endgame content to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A new Stronghold, Tidal Basin, has been added, where the formidable Black Tusk awaits you.
Additionally, there is a new World Tier 5 with a score cap of 500. You can also look forward to the “Heroic” difficulty and three new gear sets.

Weapon Balance Changes
- The MK17 rifle’s damage decreases by 14%
- the LW M4’s damage increases by 5% and fires 360 rounds per minute (previously 240)
- The LVOA-C now fires 380 rounds per minute (previously 240)
- The Sniper Rifle Model 700’s damage decreases by 13%
- The Shotgun AA12’s damage increases by 16%
- The Machine Gun MG5’s damage increases by 5%
- Additionally, a bug was fixed with the M4 and P416 weapons, which previously did more damage at long range – they should do less.
Mods
- Revision of weapon and skill mods. You can find our article on this here.
Loot & Rewards
- Control point rewards now give the correct number of items for the respective defense level. Defense level 4 now grants five instead of three items.
- Loot from faction keys in bounties is now guaranteed and will be shown in the loot preview
- Key fragments for outfit boxes have been added to the PvP rewards

Crafting
- The limit for standard and specialty materials has been increased to 400 (with all perks)
- The limit for high-end materials has been increased to 50
- Exotic weapons are now equipped with lore text mods. These mods have no stats and cannot be equipped otherwise.
Bug Fixes
- A bug was fixed that caused audio logs not to play automatically when picked up
- A bug was fixed that prevented players from completing the side mission “Worksite Community”
- Players can now correctly update their crafting bench when they reach a new world tier
- A few strange stairs and invisible walls have been fixed
