In The Division 2, the next expansion is coming on October 15. A new story trailer shows the background of the next content DLC, and it becomes clear – The Pentagon needs you!
What’s coming in The Division 2? The third-person shooter The Division 2 is considered a service game and is expected to be supported for a long time. On October 15, the next free expansion “Episode 2 – The Last Castle” starts for owners of the “Year One Pass”. All others will have access to the new content from October 22.
Although it has been known for a while that this DLC drives the agents into the Pentagon, information about the story background or concrete content has been rather scarce. However, this has changed in the last few days.
In yesterday’s community stream “State of the Game” from Division 2, there were many new images of the upcoming content expansion. Included: A story trailer about the background of the mission in the Pentagon.
The agents should not waste time!
What can be seen in the trailer? The Pentagon has been overrun, the once beautiful English lawn in front of the Ministry of Defense resembles a battlefield. The “Black Tusk” are infiltrating the Pentagon and securing the technologies and secrets of the iconic military structure.
There is little time left! In just a few hours, the mercenary group could have retrieved all important documents and equipment from the vault beneath the Pentagon.
The “Division” stands as the last instance between the “Black Tusk” and the dangerous secrets that the technology authority “DARPA” has hidden in the basements of the Ministry.
“If we don’t strike today, we will have lost the fight tomorrow!”

What missions are featured in the trailer? The cinematic trailer introduces two new main missions and one side mission focusing on securing a bio-reactor from the “DARPA” laboratories.

What’s next for The Division 2? In addition to the content expansion “Episode 2”, a major update is also coming – Title Update 6.
