The test phase for the next major Title Update 10 begins today and is entering its second round, The Division 2 is reactivating the test servers (PTS) on PC. This allows for further changes from the upcoming patch to be tested, and you can try them out yourself in advance of the release. Here’s how you can participate.
PTS Phase 2 starts today: After the test servers were reactivated for the first test phase of the upcoming TU10 on May 22 for the first time in a long while, Phase 1 ended yesterday, May 28.
Today, on May 29, the second test run starts, during which further innovations and adjustments, including the revised Exotics, will be examined.

So far, feedback from Phase 1 has been:
- Overall, there was positive feedback on most changes from Phase 1
- The numerous changes to gear (for many one of the most important aspects) were well received by most
- One of the tested gear sets (the new Foundry Bullwark) was too powerful and broken in PvP and will be revised again in Phase 2
- Players see potential in the new items from TU10
PTS Phase 2 tests further changes – Here’s how you can participate
In the second test phase, further changes and some revised adjustments from Phase 1 will be tested.
Who can participate? The PTS for The Division 2 are PC-exclusive. This feature is not available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
You can find the PTS servers on Uplay on PC. Anyone who owns The Division 2 on PC can participate in the tests. You do not need to have participated in Phase 1 to join Phase 2.
When does Phase 2 start? The test servers will go live today, May 29, at 3:00 PM German time. When they will end is still not disclosed by Massive. It will be announced in advance on social media.
Is there a preload? Yes, you can already load the PTS client if you have not participated yet. Those who were already part of Phase 1 will not have to download the client again. However, there will be a patch for them.
What exactly will be tested in Phase 2? The focus of Phase 2 will be on the following areas:
- Adjustment of the gear set Foundry Bullwark
- Balance of exotic items (most Exotics have received a buff to keep up with other weapons)
- Changes to loot and crafting
- Weapon handling
- PvP changes

The new “Underground Mode” of Division 2 is unfortunately not part of it yet.

What’s next? Depending on how the tests go in Phase 2, there may be a third phase, or the tests may conclude with Phase 2. Then it shouldn’t be long before Title Update 10 (TU10) makes its way to the live servers. This next major patch is expected in June.
