The Division 2 is undergoing maintenance today, October 6, on all platforms – including PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC. The servers will be offline for several hours. But when exactly? And what changes today? Read here everything about the maintenance process and the patch notes.
Update 1:01 PM: The extended maintenance is now complete. The servers should now be back online on all platforms. Have fun and good loot, Agents.
Update 12:27 PM: Today’s maintenance has just been extended by Massive – expected to last for 30 more minutes, until 1:00 PM. However, the developers did not provide a reason.
Why the maintenance? Recently, there was a major Title Update 11 for The Division 2, and the new Season 3 has started. The fresh content drop brought not only new content like the Summit mode or the 3 new Exotics into the game, but also various bugs and issues.
After many of the most annoying bugs have already been fixed, work continues on remaining issues in the game. Additionally, a new event starts today. Both are reasons for the maintenance.
Today’s Schedule
These times are important: Massive has already posted the schedule for today’s maintenance including the timeframe on Twitter.
- The maintenance starts at 9:30 AM German time
- Downtime starts simultaneously, so the servers will go offline
- According to the plan, 3 hours are scheduled for maintenance work. During this time window, The Division 2 cannot be played
- If no unforeseen problems or difficulties arise, the servers should be back online around 12:30 PM German time
- With downtime, today’s maintenance will also end
Important: The actual course of the maintenance may differ from the communicated schedule and may change at any time. If this happens today, you will find out as usual here in the article.
