What is happening today in The Division 2? Today there will be the next maintenance for The Division 2. This time, however, the developers are also making some changes to the game, so it is not a routine server maintenance like last week. We summarize everything important for you.
These times are important today: Massive has already posted the plan for today’s process on Twitter and in the official Ubisoft forums:
- The maintenance is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM German time.
- At the start of the maintenance, the Division 2 servers will also go offline and stay offline for several hours.
- The duration of today’s maintenance is indicated to be about 3 hours. During this time, you won’t be able to play The Division 2.
- If there are no unexpected problems, the servers should be back online around 12:30 PM German time.
- The end of the downtime also marks the end of the maintenance work. From around 12:30 PM, you should be able to start again.
However, please note: These times, especially the end of the maintenance, may change during the maintenance work. It has happened several times that Massive finished a bit earlier, but also sometimes only with several hours delay. If anything changes in today’s process, you will find out here. What changes today? The patch notes? There were no adjustments during the last maintenance and consequently no patch notes, but this time there are some. The following changes are expected today:
- A problem has been fixed that prevented players in a group from earning progress in global event challenges through their allies.
- A problem has been fixed, causing the doors during the “Break Through the Black Tusk Forces” step in the DARPA Lab main mission not to open.
- A problem has been fixed that caused status effect icons for fire and bleeding not to be displayed above NPCs. (This fix was not implemented as part of this update).
What’s next for The Division 2? Currently, there will only be minor server-side fixes until the next major update, which is expected in June – Title Update 10.
Initial changes from it are already being thoroughly tested on the test servers of The Division 2. With TU10, the second part of a comprehensive balance adjustment is to take place. In particular, loot, new gear, and new talents are to be the focus of the next major patch – all with an eye on the next raid, which is probably also set to launch in June.
