The Division is undergoing maintenance today, August 18, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The servers will go offline, and some bugs will be fixed. Read here everything you need to know about the downtime and the patch notes.
What is today’s maintenance about? Following Title Update 10.1 work continues on The Division 2 – albeit on a smaller scale. Today’s maintenance is also just to fix some annoying bugs.
All important information about the maintenance on August 18
This is how the maintenance will proceed today: The schedule for the maintenance work has been traditionally communicated in advance by Massive on Twitter. The following times are important for Division 2 agents today:
- Maintenance starts at 9:30 AM CEST
- This also marks the beginning of the downtime, the Division 2 servers will go offline
- 3 hours are planned for today’s maintenance. During this time window, you cannot play The Division 2
- If everything goes smoothly during maintenance, the servers should be back online by 12:30 PM CEST
- The maintenance work will end with the downtime today
Important to note: The schedule may change during the maintenance. Especially the time for the end of the maintenance often shifts – both forward and backward. If anything goes differently today, we will update this article accordingly.
Patch Notes for maintenance on August 18
These are today’s changes: The maintenance notes are reasonably concise this time. However, 2 bugs are being fixed, one of which is causing problems for some players:
- A problem has been fixed where clan XP was not updated correctly
- A problem has been fixed that caused DELTA-03 errors when equipping an exotic weapon
No further changes or fixes are apparently planned for today.

Furthermore, many players are waiting for news about the new Endless Mode. It is hoped that new details will be available on August 19. As Massive recently announced, the new Endless Mode is supposed to come into play with Title Update 11 in a skyscraper – much earlier than many had thought. This is primarily intended to provide more replay value.
