The Division 2 is conducting maintenance today, September 15th, across all platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC. The servers will be offline for several hours. Here you can read how the maintenance will proceed, when the downtime will occur, and what the patch notes reveal.
Update 11:01 AM: The maintenance was completed this time already 90 minutes before the planned end. The servers should now be back online on all platforms. Have fun and good luck, Agents!
What is the maintenance about? Anyone wanting to play The Division 2 this morning has to take a forced break. Although the big Title Update 11 will be released next week (on September 22nd), which will bring new content as well as various changes and fixes, the game is being worked on again today – albeit on a smaller scale.

Maintenance schedule on September 15
Note the following times: As usual, Massive communicated the key times regarding the maintenance process the day before. Here’s the plan for today:
- The maintenance begins today at 9:30 AM German time
- The downtime starts simultaneously, the servers are offline from now on
- The forced break is expected to last 3 hours, this is how long the maintenance is supposed to take
- If everything goes smoothly, the Division 2 servers should be back online by 12:30 PM German time at the latest
- With the end of the downtime, today’s maintenance will also be completed
Keep in mind that these times are not set in stone. Especially the end of the maintenance is often rescheduled – forward and backward. If there are any changes to today’s schedule, we will update it here in the article.
Patch Notes – What changes today
What do the patch notes say? The change log is again very concise today. Apparently, there is only one fix planned during the 3-hour downtime:
- A problem was fixed that caused the weekly SHD project not to reset if you were online during the reset
