In The Division 2 today, on August 11th, maintenance will take place on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The servers will be offline for several hours and some bug fixes will be deployed. Here you will find everything important regarding the downtime and the patch notes.
Update 12:42 PM: It actually remained at only 10 minutes more. According to Massive, the maintenance is now finished, and the servers should be online again across all platforms. Have fun and good loot, Agents.
Update 12:30 PM: The maintenance has just been extended – by approximately 10 minutes, until 12:40 PM.
Why the maintenance? Even after Title Update 10.1 they are diligently working on The Division 2. Today, during the maintenance, some annoying bugs will be fixed and an event of Season 2 will be concluded.
All information about the maintenance on August 11th
These are the important times today: For today’s maintenance, Massive has already published the timeline on Twitter in advance. Here’s how it looks:
- The maintenance is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM German time
- At the same time, the multi-hour downtime begins, meaning the servers will be offline from then on
- According to the plan, the maintenance is set for 3 hours. During this time, you cannot play The Division 2
- If no problems occur during the maintenance, the servers should be back online by 12:30 PM German time at the latest
- The end of the downtime also marks the end of today’s maintenance
Please note: The timeline and especially the end of the maintenance can indeed shift. Maintenance has often been extended in the past. However, in recent weeks, Massive has also often finished earlier than planned. Should anything change regarding the communicated timeline today, we will update this article accordingly.
The Division 2 Patch Notes for the maintenance on August 11th
This is changing today: The focus of today’s maintenance is to address some annoying bugs – among others from the new raid “Operation: Iron Horse” and Season 2. The following issues will be fixed today:
- An issue was fixed where the Global Event Challenge progress was reset when switching to a character that still had progress on a previous event
- An issue was fixed where Phase 6 of Morozova was not triggered when the hit points of the Iron Horse were reduced by the “Dilemma of the Negotiator” gear set
- An issue causing game crashes for players in connection with the Revived event Delta-03 error was fixed
Furthermore, today’s maintenance ends the “Phoenix Down” clothing event. No further changes or fixes are currently planned for today.
This is a new feature many are waiting for: As Massive recently officially announced, the new Endless mode in a skyscraper will come into the game much earlier than expected with Title Update 11. This is intended to provide more replay value in The Division 2, which many players currently find severely lacking.
