In The Division 2 there are maintenance works today, on September 8th, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. What will change during the several hours of server downtime? And what times are important today? Here you’ll find everything about the downtime and the patch notes.
Update 11:33 AM: The maintenance has already been completed – an hour faster than originally planned. The servers should now be available on all platforms again. Have fun and good loot, Agents.
Why the maintenance? Although The Division 2 has focused on the new Summit mode and new exotics from the upcoming Title Update 11 in the last few days, which can currently be tested on the PTS. However, the live game is also being adjusted from time to time until the next major update (TU11) – including today.
When is today’s maintenance?
You should note the following times: The developers at Massive traditionally announce the maintenance schedule a day in advance – at least when it is – like today – a regular one. Here is the schedule for September 8th:
- The maintenance begins today at 9:30 AM German time
- At the start of the downtime, the game servers will also go offline
- The maintenance work is expected to last about 3 hours. So long you have to take a forced break from The Division 2 if you wanted to play during this time
- If no unforeseen problems occur, the servers will be back online by 12:30 PM German time at the latest, ending the downtime
- This will also mark the end of today’s maintenance
Keep in mind that the schedule may change during maintenance. Especially the end of the maintenance can sometimes shift a bit forward or backward. If anything happens differently this time, you will find out here in the article.
The patch notes say
What changes today? The patch notes are very brief today. One can only hope that Massive is still working on the servers or other background tasks, because essentially only one fix is planned for the scheduled 3 hours of downtime:
- A problem has been fixed where the firefly explodes immediately when launched from cover at a certain angle
Otherwise, no further changes are intended according to the maintenance notes.
What do you think so far about The Summit – the new mode for The Division 2 that is supposed to come with Title Update 11? After all, it has been presented in great detail and numerous agents can already test it on the PTS.
Vote and tell us your opinion: New Summit mode should revive The Division 2 – will you come back for it?
