Today, on May 16th, maintenance work will be carried out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for The Division 2. The servers will also go offline. Subsequently, the first raid will start. After the release of the large Title Update 3 last Tuesday, there are again maintenance works on all platforms today for the servers of The Division 2.
How today’s maintenance for The Division 2 will go
Update:
- 3:00 PM: The servers of The Division 2 are now down. Playing is therefore not possible at the moment
- 6:00 PM: The maintenance took a full 3 hours this time. But now the servers are back online exactly on time and the first raid of The Division 2 opens its doors. Good luck and good loot to all agents.
How are the first hours in the raid going?
- 7:04 PM: The Division 2 announces via Twitter that there is a lot of interest in the raid. Players have to wait a long time to connect to a raid server. They receive a “Waiting for the raid” message. Massive says they are now working to solve the problem and want to bring more servers online. Meanwhile, the error message Mike 01 occurs more frequently.
- 7:11 PM: On Reddit, there are complaints that some streamers can play without issues, but players cannot. The streamer MarcoStyle seems to be leading in his group – other groups are currently struggling with the tough boss, Max “Bomber” Bailey, who seems to be the first real challenge.
The official schedule for the server maintenance on May 16th: The maintenance will take place in the afternoon this time. There will be a several-hour server downtime.
- The server maintenance is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM our time
- The servers will be offline for approximately three hours.
- If everything goes according to plan, the downtime and maintenance should end by 6:00 PM at the latest. Then your agents should be able to jump back into the fight.
Keep in mind: During the maintenance, you will not be able to log in.

What will change today in The Division 2?
What to expect today after the maintenance: Official patch notes are not yet available. However, you can look forward to these two features after the maintenance:
- As Massive and Ubisoft have announced multiple times, today marks the start of the first raid of The Division 2. This is called Operation: Dark Hours and will open its gates for agents at 6:00 PM our time.
- Additionally, a new apparel event for The Division 2 is expected to launch simultaneously with the raid. During this event, you can earn a variety of new cosmetic rewards like masks, weapon skins, emotes, or outfits.
