What is this update about? After Title Update 10 and the new Season 2 have already started in June, another highlight launches at the end of the month – the new raid.
But before Operation: Iron Horse opens its gates for the agents this evening, there is maintenance that brings the new content into the game. We summarize the most important points for you.
All Important Information About the Maintenance on June 30
These times are important today: According to Massive, today’s maintenance is scheduled as follows:
- The maintenance work is set to begin at 9:30 AM German time
- The downtime will also begin immediately, the servers will go offline
- The estimated duration of maintenance is stated to be 3 hours. During this time, you cannot play The Division 2.
- If no unexpected problems or difficulties occur, the servers are expected to be back online around 12:30 PM German time.
- This will conclude today’s maintenance.
However, please note: This timeline may change throughout the maintenance, and some times (especially the end of the maintenance) may shift. This has happened occasionally over the last weeks and months. If anything changes in today’s schedule, we will update this article accordingly.
The Patch Notes for Maintenance on June 30
What is changing? The patch notes this time are quite straightforward. The main concern of the maintenance is apparently the preparation for the launch of the new raid:
- A problem has been fixed that prevented the doors from opening during the “Break through the Black Tusk Forces” task in the “DARPA Research Laboratory” mission
- Brings the new raid Operation: Iron Horse into the game, which will then launch today at 6:00 PM German time
Additional changes or fixes are apparently not planned for today.
All Important Information About the New Raid
Operation: Iron Horse is a new top-tier activity for PvE and the 2nd raid of The Division 2. Originally, it was supposed to be released in October 2019 but was postponed due to issues in the game. Now the 2nd raid starts today, June 30th, at 6:00 PM.
Since Operation: Iron Horse is essentially leftover content from year 1, neither the Warlords expansion nor the year 1 pass is required to take on the raid. It is therefore free and accessible to all players.
However, today, the level 40 version for owners of Warlords of New York launches first. The level 30 version for owners of the base game is expected to follow next week.
