In The Division 2 maintenance is taking place on PS4, Xbox One, and PC today, and the servers will be offline for several hours. Here you can find out how the maintenance is proceeding and whether anything is changing.
Update 12:05 PM: The maintenance is already completed, and the servers should be back up on all platforms. Have fun and good loot, Agents!
Last week, the large Title Update 9.1 was finally delivered with a bit of delay. This brought a whole bunch of new bug fixes and the first major wave of balance changes, focusing on the most annoying NPC problems.
Now there is the next maintenance today. But what can we expect? How does the maintenance go? And what will change?
These are the important times today: On Twitter, the developers at Massive have already communicated the schedule for today. Here it is:
- The maintenance will begin today at 9:30 AM CEST.
- At this time, the Division 2 servers will also go offline, and the planned downtime will begin.
- According to Massive, the maintenance work is expected to last about 3 hours today. During this time frame, you will have to take a forced break from The Division 2.
- If everything goes as planned, the servers will come back online at around 12:30 PM CEST. The downtime will end.
- With the end of the server downtime, the maintenance will also be completed. You can then return to Washington and New York to maintain law and order.
Keep in mind: The times communicated by the developers, especially for the end of the maintenance, may change during the maintenance work. It can happen that Massive finishes earlier or that the work extends for several hours. Both have occurred multiple times recently.
If there are any changes to the procedure today, we will adjust this article accordingly.
What is changing today? What do the patch notes say? According to Massive, there will be no adjustments today for the first time in a very long time. This is a purely routine server maintenance without direct in-game changes for the players. Accordingly, there are no proper patch notes today.
What’s next for The Division 2? Although today’s maintenance is just routine, the next major update is expected in June – Title Update 10.
Title Update 9.1 from last week was only the first part of a large balance adjustment wave. TU10 will follow with the second part. Loot, new gear, and new talents are expected to be the focus of the next major patch – all with an eye on the next raid, which is also expected to be released in June.
