In The Division 2 there are maintenance works today on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The servers will also go offline for several hours. But how does the maintenance proceed exactly today? And what do the patch notes say?
Update 11:20 AM: The servers should be coming back online now, the maintenance is over. Moreover, Massive has published the patch notes (see further down in the article).
What is the maintenance about today? Even after Title Update 8.5 (TU8.5) and Warlords of New York have been released for The Division 2, Massive continues to work hard on their shooter. So today there is again maintenance work including downtime. Here you can find everything important about it.
All you need to know about today’s maintenance
These times are important today:
- The maintenance is scheduled to start at 9:30 AM German time. This also marks the beginning of the downtime, the servers will go offline.
- If everything goes according to plan, the server downtime today should last about 3 hours. During this time, you cannot play The Division 2.
- Around 12:30 PM, the servers should be back online on all platforms, and the maintenance work will end.
Also keep in mind: The communicated schedule from Massive is only approximate. The maintenance can indeed end earlier or extend by several hours – both is not uncommon.

What do the patch notes say? The most important changes we can expect in the near future include
- a new feature for exotics that many are waiting for
- as well as a rework of strong and exotic items
But that will only come with Title Update 9, as Massive has finally provided clarity and published the patch notes or the maintenance notes for today’s maintenance.

What’s next for The Division 2 in April? In April, work will continue on The Division 2 – further bug fixes as well as the mentioned Title Update 9 are expected – the second major update this month.
However, it is rather unlikely that TU9 will be released today. This was announced for the end of April, so it is likely to appear at the earliest next week.
