Today, there are maintenance works for The Division 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a several-hour server downtime. When will the servers go offline? When can you play again? And what will change? Read here everything you need to know about the maintenance work and the patch notes.
Update 1:35 PM: The servers are now back online after 5 hours of maintenance. However, the developers did not reveal why the work took so long.
Update 12:45 PM: The maintenance has just been extended by another hour, so until 1:45 PM. The developers have not yet provided a reason for the delays.

What’s happening today in The Division 2? Actually, today (March 31), a new clothing event and the 2nd seasonal target of Season 1 are starting (Warlords expansion required). Additionally, the expedition “Kenly College” will open its doors for a week to trigger-happy agents.
However, those who want to play The Division 2 in the morning will have to take a longer forced break before diving into the new content.
Because today, there are several hours of maintenance, and the servers will also go offline. However, due to the time change, the usual times will be shifted.
These are the important times today:
- The maintenance will already start at 8:30 AM German time
- This is also the start of the downtime – the servers of The Division 2 will go offline
- According to plan, the server downtime should last about 3 hours. During this time, you won’t be able to play The Division 2
- If no problems occur, the servers should come back online around 11:30 AM German time.
- That would also mean the maintenance is over.
Please note that these times are not set in stone. It has happened several times that Massive has completed the maintenance faster than planned. It has also occurred that problems arise, and therefore the maintenance had to be extended. If anything changes, we will update this article accordingly.
What will change today? The patch notes reveal: Even before today’s maintenance, the developers from Massive revealed what will change today:
- A problem was fixed where the talents Aggressive Recon and Crossbow Expert of the “Spearhead” gear set were triggered when in a Dark Zone safe house or at a Dark Zone control point.
- A problem was fixed where targeted loot could drop multiple times if you failed the target practice on the shooting range in the open world and repeated it several times.
- A problem was fixed where players could take damage when eliminating an enemy player affected by the Full-Flag debuff of the “True Patriot” gear set.
- A problem was fixed where no explosion was triggered when an enemy player with a Full-Flag debuff was downed.
- The exotic submachine gun Lady Death will no longer boost turret skills.
By the way, even during the maintenance, Massive suddenly spoke up and explained that DPS glitchers are now facing trouble: The Division 2 is imposing harsh penalties for DPS glitch – account bans and rollbacks
The developers are diligently working on: Furthermore, the developers announced that there will be two more updates soon, which will bring various bug fixes and numerous balance changes to the game. As early as next week, Title Update 8.5 (TU 8.5) is set to be released. Another update is expected later in April, whose changes are not yet fully complete or adequately tested.
Hopefully, this will go better than last week: The Division 2 has been fighting nasty glitches for a week – is it finally over?
