Today, on May 14th, Title Update 3.0 for The Division 2 has finally been released. The server maintenance is now over, and Massive has just published the change log. Here you can find out what has changed in the game.
What’s in the new Title Update 3.0 for The Division 2?
As expected, the new update addresses numerous areas of The Division 2. We have summarized some highlights for you here.
New Features: With Title Update 3, some new features have come into the game, such as
- the new Raid Operation Dark Hours. By the way, the exact start date is already set.
- Classified Assignments – The Fall of D.C., exclusive missions for Season Pass holders. With the new update, two of these new missions are coming.
- New Apparel Event: Dark Hours. Along with the raid release, this event will bring new outfits, masks, emotes, and weapon skins into the game.
- Post Mission Activity Summary: Here, you will be provided detailed statistics on your performance during a mission. You can view this after a mission.
Commendations: The update brings new commendations for Operation Dark Hours and removes some annoying commendations completely. More on this here:
Loot: There have been numerous adjustments to the loot. For instance, there should be guaranteed 500 loot in the Dark Zone as soon as you reach Gear Score 500.
In PvE, for example, bosses from heroic missions, but also base bosses, bounty bosses, containers from heroic control points, and even daily project missions on Hard or Challenge will provide you with 500 items – as long as you have already achieved a Gear Score of 500.
Weapon and gear talents: As was already noticeable on the test servers, there has been a significant change primarily in these areas. The majority of the talents have been adjusted.
Even if many talents seem to have been weakened here – keep in mind that the NPCs have also been comprehensively adjusted. With these changes, you should now have more effective alternatives for your builds to choose from and not just rely on a few talents.
Skills: There have also been significant changes in the skills. For instance, some variants
- of the drone
- of the chem launcher
- of the drone stocks
- and also the pulse
have been adjusted.
Weapons and mods: There are now several new mods. Additionally, there have been some changes to the weapons. For example, all exotics have been buffed across the board.
PvP and Dark Zones: Numerous adjustments have been made in Conflict and the Dark Zone.
For example, in the Dark Zone:
- more contaminated loot
- a larger bag
- a cooldown at landmarks
- reduced damage from AI
- less XP loss at death
- guaranteed Gear Score 500 loot after reaching Gear Score 500
In PvP, you can now expect among other things:
- numerous balance changes
- reduced boost effects
- a better respawn mechanic
- more effective skills
Numerous other changes: But that’s not all. In addition to the changes mentioned so far, numerous changes have also occurred in the following areas:
- Crafting
- missions
- game world
- recalibration
- rewards
- vendors
- general improvements
- User Interface
Additionally, there have been numerous bug fixes.
