Ubisoft has announced today a playable alpha for The Division 2. From December 15, selected players can test an early version of the shared-world shooter.
The Division 2 is getting a playable alpha, and it’s coming in just a few days. However, not all players will be able to participate.
This is how participants are selected: Starting tomorrow, December 13, certain players will receive an email with confirmation of their participation. They will be part of the alpha and will be among the first outside of Ubisoft to play The Division 2.
Participants will be randomly selected from players who have already registered on the corresponding alpha website.
The Division 2 Alpha starts
When does it start? The alpha of The Division 2 starts on December 15 and runs until December 18.
On which platforms? It will apparently only run on PC. There is no information regarding PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In the announcement from Ubisoft, it is noted that participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement. Your feedback will be important for further development.
This is how you participate in the alpha: If you are selected,
- you will receive an invitation email. In this, you must confirm the non-disclosure agreement.
- Then you will be redirected to the alpha website.
- You need to log in there with your Ubisoft credentials.
- Now the alpha should appear in your Uplay library.
For technical reasons, there can only be a limited number of participants, which is why players will be randomly selected.
