At The Division 2, there are maintenance works today shortly after the launch of the Westside League on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The servers will be offline for several hours. Numerous fixes for annoying bugs will be implemented. Learn here how the maintenance works and take a look at the patch notes.
Update 1:35 PM: According to Massive, the servers are back online and the maintenance is complete. Have fun and good loot, Agents.
Update 12:31 PM: As Massive just announced on Twitter, today’s maintenance will be extended by one hour, until 1:30 PM. However, the developers did not mention a reason for the delay.
By the way, you need to download a larger update today. The patch is about 5.8 GB on PS4.
What’s new in The Division 2 today: The Westside League started today at 8:00 AM German time in The Division 2. This is an event of Season 1.
In this league or event, everything revolves around thwarting the plans of Neptune and his henchmen (Outcasts) in Washington. In a race against the clock, you must complete missions, strongholds, and activities in the open world with Outcasts as quickly as possible while mastering challenges. The times will be recorded on the leaderboards. By completing the challenges, you level up and unlock new rewards.
However, before you can really get started in the new league, there are maintenance works today in The Division 2 with several hours of downtime.
By the way: To participate in Season 1 and the new league, you need to own the new expansion Warlords of New York.

What do the patch notes say? What changes today: Not only has a new event started in The Division 2 today – many annoying bugs in the game will also be fixed.
These changes have been communicated so far:
- The ability to reset the seasonal manhunt has been temporarily disabled. This is to prevent progress from being lost. This is a temporary solution until a permanent fix is released later in March. After that, the manhunts can be reset as intended without losing progress.
- A problem has been fixed that blocked further progress as an NPC was stuck on the last level of Castle Clinton.
- A problem has been resolved whereby players received the wrong number of specialization points per SHD level.
- A problem has been fixed whereby blue items dropped from NPCs in the Dark Zones, regardless of the players’ levels.
- A problem has been fixed whereby players received multiple seasonal containers at once.
- A problem has been resolved whereby rewards from seasonal containers were contaminated when players leveled up in the seasonal level while being in the Dark Zone.
- A problem has been remedied whereby players received no XP for seasonal progress in the Dark Zones.
- A problem has been fixed whereby no progress could be made at the “The Nest” checkpoint in the “defend checkpoint” activity as hostile NPCs simply disappeared.
- A problem has been fixed whereby the “The Nest” checkpoint could not be completed on challenging difficulty.
- A problem has been fixed whereby some NPCs could get stuck at spawn points of various checkpoints.
- Issues with resetting some puzzles in all Hunter encounters have been resolved.
- A problem has been fixed whereby players received too many keys in Hunter encounters. If you received too many keys, you will not receive any more until the number of your keys equals the number of your Hunter encounters.
A point has been added later:
- A problem has been resolved that caused players to get stuck in an endless loading screen in the Dark Zone.
Note that the patch notes may be expanded again during or after the maintenance work. This has happened several times before. We will update the article accordingly should it happen again today.
