Shortly after the launch of The Division 2: Warlords of New York, players can find the first new Exotics. We show you where to get the new exotic “NinjaBike Messenger” knee pads and what they can do in detail.
What is this new Exotic about? After the Title Update 8 and the Warlords expansion were recently released, many agents are diving into the new content. Several of the total 10 new Exotics that came with the new expansion have already been discovered.
These include the new exotic NinjaBike Messenger knee pads, which numerous Division 1 veterans will immediately recognize as a reference to the NinjaBike backpack from the first game. However, apart from the name, this new Exotic has nothing in common with the backpack from The Division 1.
These are the new exotic NinjaBike Messenger knee pads
Note: You can only obtain these knee pads if you own the new Warlords expansion.
What the exotic knee pads can do: The knee pads are completely offensively oriented and have only red attributes.
- The core attribute gives you additional weapon damage
- the first attribute grants additional critical hit chance
- the second attribute comes with additional critical hit damage
- The talent is called Parkour: When you move from cover to cover or climb, or slide over an obstacle, your active weapon is reloaded.
Who is this new Exotic suitable for? Everyone who likes to play offensively can benefit from this new Exotic. However, the new knee pads are likely strongest in combination with LMGs, i.e. with machine guns.
The biggest disadvantage of LMGs is the reload time. Reloading takes forever, but with proper playstyle with the new Exotic, it is completely eliminated, allowing you to use this weapon type much more effectively.
How to get this new Exotic: Currently, it appears that the NinjaBike knee pads can only be found in the Dark Zone. The previously documented finds come exclusively from the Dark Zones in D.C.
You need to return to Washington and loot Dark Zone Supply Drops and/or kill bosses there. These are the two fastest ways to obtain the new knee pads.
