One of the most interesting innovations in The Division 2 are the new Brand Sets, which bring special bonuses. In this video, you will learn everything you need to know about the new brand clothing.
The Division 2 will have a new type of gear, the so-called Brand or Brand Sets. These have up to three bonuses that differ from brand to brand and are meant to support certain playstyles. In the video from YouTuber Arekkz, he presents the brands based on the E3 demo and explains their functions.
What are Brand Sets? The Brand Sets are conceptually similar to Gear Sets. If you equip a piece of a Brand Set, the first bonus is activated. If you have two pieces, bonuses 1 and 2 are active. With three pieces, you unlock all bonuses.
The known Brand Sets so far
These are the brands that have been shown so far:
- Overlord Armaments: +7.5% armor bonus, +5.0% weapon damage, +10.0% damage to elites
- China Light Industries Corporation: +8.0% shotgun damage, +10.0% total resistance, +10.0% skill haste
- Richter&Kaiser GmbH: +20.0% pistol damage, +15.0% shield strength, +10.0% total resistance
- Airaldi Holdings: +5.0% marksman rifle damage, +10.0% headshot damage, +10.0% precision
- Wyvern Wear: +7.0% crit damage, +5.0% headshot damage, +10.0% crit chance
- Sokolov Concern: +10.0% SMG damage, +8.0% crit damage, +10.0% crit chance
Gear Sets will also be present in The Division 2
Gear Sets and Brands: In some interviews Massive has already confirmed that the Gear Sets known from The Division 1 will be back. The Gear Sets will also benefit from the new brands and thus offer even more combinations.
