Developers hinted at Survival’s return in 2018
Why did fans hope for Survival? The hope dates back to talks from June 2018.
There, the developers chatted in an interview with YouTuber Skill Up about possible expansions of The Division 2.
The creative director of The Division, Julian Gerighty, said back then that he was a big fan of Survival.
He would be “incredibly surprised” if this mode did not come to The Division 2 eventually. Fans apparently understood this as an announcement – which is now being retracted by the community manager.
