Title Update 6 brings a new date for the vendor reset in The Division 2, changing a tradition that has existed since the first Division. Learn all about the new vendor reset date here.
How do vendors work in The Division 2? Players of Division 2 have many ways to get fresh loot. In addition to the usual “shoot everything that moves” method, vendors are sometimes a rewarding alternative when building a character.
In the first part of the third-person shooter, when the special vendor “Dark Xur” was conducting his dubious business in the Dark Zone, new items arrived in the trade inventories every Saturday, so agents would regularly check back.
Although a reasonable offer did not come with every vendor reset, it has become a rule for some players to at least check the new offers on Saturdays.
However, with the new Title Update 6, there is now a different reset date, marking a change in a tradition that has lasted for three and a half years.
New reset now on Wednesday
When is the reset now? With Title Update 6, the reset date in our time zone changes from Saturday to Tuesday. The offers will be updated in the morning, specifically at 9:00 AM. The next reset will be on October 22.
All vendors are affected
Does this day apply to all vendors? The weekday for a vendor has been changed before, so the secret weapon vendor Cassie has had a different reset for some time now.
With Title Update 6, that’s over! The developers have synchronized the resets again, and all vendors will offer new goods for the agents on the same day. The following equipment vendors will now change their offers simultaneously:
- Cassie Mendoza
- Weekly changing location
- Safe Haven vendor
- Changing location in the Dark Zones
- Clan vendor
- White House
- Settlement vendor
- Campus, White House, Theater
- Dark Zone vendor
- At the entrances of the three Dark Zones
Vendors overall improved
What’s new with the vendors? The vendors have become more interesting with the new update and now offer agents rarer goods. Cassie now has several named items available, and both the Safe Haven and Clan vendors each offer one “Named Item” per week.
The standard vendors in the settlements and Dark Zones have also been revamped and now have equipment and skill mods on display as well. This week, there was also something useful available.
TU6 with many new builds
What else did TU6 bring? Title Update 6 came out on October 15 and worked on many core functionalities of the game. The builds were overhauled so that more weapons and talents can be used efficiently.
With the update, there was also the free content expansion “Episode 2”, which players with the Year-1 Pass already have access to. All others can play the Pentagon missions starting October 22.
