The Division 2 is known for its many talents and skills that hopefully result in a good build when combined. However, combining it with an Exotic exaggerates the synergies a bit and can stuff thousands of bullets into your magazine. But see for yourself.
How does building work in The Division 2? The post-apocalyptic shooter Division 2 relies not only on its gunplay and the many missions and projects the game offers. Besides the active tasks, building a robust build is the primary goal of the Division agents.
It is best to proceed step by step, which is called Min-Max’ing. This minimizes unwanted values in the build and maximizes the stats that are the focus of the build.

The interaction of the many talents can sometimes lead to bugs. An interesting error has now sneaked into the game after Title Update 6 and fills the agents’ magazines more than to the brim.
Small bug leads to large magazines
Which talent combination gives the mega magazines? The weapon talent “Lucky Shot” currently works quite well with the exotic “Dodge City Gunslinger Holster”. A few shots, switching between the main weapon and the pistol, and the combo loads your magazine into entirely new dimensions.
- Lucky Shot
- Shots from cover that miss the target return to the magazine.
- Dodge City Gunslinger Holster
- Talent: Shooter
- When switching to the pistol, all magazines are reloaded.

The talent “Shooter” of the exotic weapon holder currently does not seem to register the bullets that land back in the magazine with “Lucky Shot”. Thus, the magazine is refilled even though it is already packed with cartridges.
Minutes of continuous fire shred enemies
What happens to the additional cartridges? The engine relies on the displayed ammunition value and allows you to fire the accumulated bullets towards enemies without pause.
Since “Lucky Shot” also returns all the bullets that went astray from cover, the excessive magazines are hardly emptied anymore.
In the video, you see YouTuber “Flufficatplayz Awesome” as he goes against the enemies of the following area of the mission with his magazine holding nearly 400 bullets and rains down minutes of continuous fire on the bewildered foes.
10,000 bullets in the magazine – Probably even more possible
But there’s more: In the picture below you see the agent “expect_nothing”, who has set aside thousands of bullets. Dedicated bug testers have filled magazines with over 10,000 bullets and went against pitiful bandits.

The talent “Lucky Shot” can also be found on rifles and sniper rifles. If reports are to be believed, rifles can also be overfilled, but snipers cannot. With a strong assault rifle, such a magazine would certainly not be bad.
The developers are working on it
Will it stay like this? In the largest thread on the topic on reddit, one of the developers has already responded to the excessive magazine sizes and confirmed that this issue is known and is being worked on.
We’re working on a fix for this issue.

Until then, the community is having fun with the bug and pushing capacities to new heights, so that even the magazines in bullet-heavy action movies only seem like small cartridge dispensers.
What do you think about this crazy bug? Ready to hunt?
