At E3 2018, new information about The Division 2 was shared during the Ubisoft press conference. The planned content for the first year has now been revealed, and notably, all three DLCs will be free for all players.
During Ubisoft’s appearance at E3 2018, there were numerous new details regarding The Division 2. In addition to new trailers, the content plans for the first year of The Division 2 have been disclosed.
DLCs for The Division 2 will be free in the first year – For all players!
Massive Entertainment is planning several content deliveries and world events following the release of The Division 2 on March 15, 2019. Three DLCs, referred to as episodes, are set to be released in Year 1.
3 DLCs are also expected to bring new areas
The special thing: No additional costs for new content will be incurred by players in the first year. All three DLCs will be completely free for all players.

The episodes are set to introduce new storylines, new areas, and new activities into the game. Therefore, there will not be a season pass.
What do the content plans look like after Year 1? Whether content updates will remain free beyond the first year is unfortunately still unknown.
