This skill build allows you to perform powerful airstrikes in The Division 2. This way, you get an impressive drone.
What kind of skill build is this? This build comes from the YouTuber NothingButSkillz and is quite popular among agents right now.
- The build is designed for PvP, but you can also use it in PvE. NothingButSkillz speculates that it might even be a new PvP meta.
- The build focuses on high skill power – so on powerful skills.
- The build allows for a playstyle where you can activate the bomber drone quite frequently. It then flies over enemies and conducts deadly airstrikes. Especially in PvP and in the Dark Zone, enemies are ruthlessly destroyed.
You can watch the build in this video; we will present it in German below:
How to create the Drone Skill Build
The important stats: You need around 2,100 skill power in your build. The agent also has nearly 43,000 hit points and 228,000 armor.
What weapons do you need? The choice of weapons is entirely up to you. It has no effect on this build – because you kill with drones! NothingButSkillz uses
- the assault rifle AK-M black market version with the talents Spike, Stable, and Recharged,
- the exotic assault rifle Eagle Bearer from the raid
- and the pistol “Diceros Special”. This is a weapon of the Destruction Expert – the specialization for this build – which has a good talent for the build: If the weapon is equipped, there is a 5% chance that kills on enemies will refresh active skill cooldowns. Can repeat every 60 seconds.
These are the armor pieces: The armor pieces are crucial for the build.
- Mask from China Light Industries with bonuses to skill power and skill haste (mod) as well as the talent Destructive (+20% explosion damage)
- Chest piece from Providence Defense with bonuses to hit points, armor, and skill power (mod) with the talent Destructive. Also utility mods with skill power and drone skill power.
- Holster from Douglas & Harding with skill haste and the talent Destructive. With the utility mods, you increase skill power and explosion damage.
- Knee pads from China Light Industries with a bonus to skill haste (mod) and the talent Destructive.
- Gloves from China Light Industries with the talent Terminate, which grants you +35% skill damage for 15 seconds when you destroy an enemy’s armor. Additional explosion damage would also be welcome here.
- Backpack from Alps Summit Armament with bonuses to armor and skill power and the talents Destructive and Talented (with skill kills, there is a 25% chance that skill cooldowns will refresh). Increases skill power and drone skill power with utility mods.
These benefits provide the brand sets:
- China Light Industries grants +10% explosion damage, +10% shotgun damage, and +30% skill haste with 3 pieces
- Providence Defense grants +10% skill power with one piece
- Douglas & Harding grants +5% precision (unimportant for the build) with one piece
- Alps Summit Armament grants +20% skill haste with one piece
This means, look for skill power and explosion damage for enormous damage as well as skill haste to use the skills frequently.

Send one drone after another
You need these skills: The two skills are the key to this build:
- Bomber Drone: For this, you have to set two points, then a drone flies off and drops explosive bombs between these points. It’s best to use mods that increase the explosion radius of the drone bombs, improve the damage, and grant extra bombs. The cooldown of this skill should be around 25 seconds with the upper build and the explosion damage should be over 950,000.
- Dope Drone Stock: With this skill, you increase the movement speed, weapon handling, and skill haste of allies. This means in practice: When you launch the drone and activate the drone stock, you can redeploy the drone about 8 seconds faster. Let the next drone fly, run back to the active drone stock, and reduce the cooldown again by 8 seconds. This way, you can send fresh drones out even faster.
This is what you can do with the build: This way, you get a powerful build that allows you to launch strong drones one after another. Keep yourself out of direct fights, as you can do little with firepower and take little damage. Instead, you are the type that detonates deadly skills from hiding.
How the build plays can be seen at the beginning and the end of the embedded video above.
What do you think of this build? Will you tune your drones soon?
