With the “Warlords of New York” expansion, a total of 10 new exotic items have been introduced to The Division 2. We will show you what makes the new exotic weapons and armor pieces special and explain where you can find them.
What are the new Exotics about? Recently, the Warlords of New York expansion launched for The Division 2, essentially marking the start of the second year of the open-world shooter.
The addon brought numerous new features and improvements to the game, including 10 new exotic items that are only available to Warlords owners. But which Exotics are they exactly? What can they do and how do you get them?
What types of Exotics are they? The 10 new Exotics are evenly divided between weapons and armor. With Warlords, there are:
- 5 new exotic weapons
- 5 new exotic armor pieces
On reddit, players have already compiled their unique talents and the most common locations for these Exotics. We summarize everything for you below.
However, please note that there are still no images available for numerous new Exotics.
By the way, the new Exotics are only available through their mentioned sources. You cannot earn them using the “Targeted Loot” features after you have first obtained them.
These are the 5 new weapon Exotics from Warlords of New York
With Warlords, the previous exotic arsenal, which recently expanded with the Chameleon assault rifle, has now been enriched with a pistol, an assault rifle, an LMG, a rifle, and a submachine gun.
Bighorn – Assault Rifle
What makes the weapon special? The unique talent is called Big Game Hunter. When using the weapon’s scope, it switches to a semi-automatic firing mode, where each shot deals 450% weapon damage.
Where can you find this weapon Exotic? Mainly in legendary missions and faction strongholds.
Bullet King – LMG (Light Machine Gun)
What makes the weapon special? The Bullet King comes with the talent Bullet Hell. This weapon never has to be reloaded. Additionally, after every 100 bullets that hit any enemies, some ammunition is loaded into your and your allies’ reserves.
Where can you find this weapon Exotic? Primarily in missions with the Rikers faction. The chance of a drop for this weapon increases with the level of difficulty.
Regulus – Pistol
What makes the weapon special? The unique talent is called Regicide. Headshot kills deal 400% weapon damage and cause a bleeding effect on enemies within 5 meters of the eliminated target.
Where can you find this weapon Exotic? This is still unknown.
The Ravenous – Rifle
What makes the weapon special? This rifle has the unique talent Geri and Freki. When pulling the trigger, both barrels are fired.
When firing from the right shoulder, hits apply offensive primers to the target. When firing from the left shoulder, they are defensive primers. Hits from one shoulder then detonate the primers that were placed from the other shoulder.
Upon detonation, each offensive primer deals 75% weapon damage. Each defensive primer grants you +2% bonus armor for 5 seconds. The effectiveness of the primers is doubled at 10 stacks.
Where can you find this weapon Exotic? This is still unknown.
Lady Death – SMG (Submachine Gun)
What makes the weapon special? The talent of Lady Death is called Breath Free.
When you move, you get four stacks per second, eight when sprinting. A maximum of 40 is possible.
Each fired bullet consumes one stack and increases damage by 60%. Kills grant +20% movement speed for 10 seconds.
Where can you find this weapon Exotic? Mainly from the 22 named bosses in New York, but also in faction caches.

Except for the gloves, every armor slot received a new Exotic with Warlords.
Acosta’s Go-Bag – Backpack
What makes this armor piece special? Acosta’s Go-Bag has 2 talents: One in Hand and Two in the Bag.
One in Hand grants you +1 to your Skill Tier for 15 seconds when you hit an enemy with a grenade. If you are already at Skill Tier 6, the Overcharge effect comes into play. This greatly increases the power of skills for a short time.
Two in the Bag provides the wearer with some useful boosts:
- +1 Repair Kit Capacity
- +3 Grenade Capacity
- +25% Ammo Capacity
- +10% on Repair Skills (like Drone)
- +10% on status effects caused by you
Where can you find this armor Exotic? Mainly in faction caches but also apparently from named bosses.
Tardigrade Armour System – Vest
What makes this armor piece special? The talent of this exotic vest is called Ablative Nano-Plating. Whenever your or an ally’s armor breaks, they receive 80% of your armor as bonus armor for 10 seconds.
For each ally, there is a 45-second cooldown. However, if you kill an enemy with the signature weapon of your respective specialization, this cooldown resets for all allies.
Where can you find this armor Exotic? Mainly in missions with the True Sons. The drop chance also increases with the level of difficulty.
Imperial Dynasty – Holster
What makes this armor piece special? This new armor Exotic comes with the talent Dragon’s Glare. While you are in combat, the burn effect is applied to the enemy who is closest to you within a radius of 20 meters. This effect has a cooldown of 40 seconds.
Where can you find this armor Exotic? Fitting with the fire effect, this Exotic is primarily found in missions with the Cleaners. The drop chance increases with the level of difficulty.
NinjaBike Messenger Kneepads – Knee Pads
What makes this armor piece special? The unique talent of the NinjaBike Messenger Kneepads is called Parkour. When moving from cover to cover or climbing, and sliding over an obstacle, the active weapon is reloaded.
Where can you find this armor Exotic? In supply drops and as loot after boss kills in the Dark Zone.
Coyote’s Mask – Mask
What makes this armor piece special? The talent of this mask is called Pack Instincts. The wearer and their allies receive a bonus based on the distance to the last hit target:
- At 0 – 15 meters, you gain +25% critical hit damage
- At 15 – 25 meters, you gain +10% critical hit damage and +10% chance of critical hits
- At 25 meters and beyond, your chance of critical hits increases by +25%
Where can you find this armor Exotic? This is a season-specific reward from Season 1 (starts on March 10). You receive it at season rank 35.
