In The Division, we present an outstanding sniper build that allows you to take out other agents in the Dark Zone with just one shot.
Since update 1.4, there have been numerous changes to weapons, gear sets, talents, and skills that allow for various build possibilities. The YouTuber WOBO now presents his new sniper build, with which he cleans up in PvP. Below is a summary of this “One Shot” setup:
Weapons, Talents, and Gear Set Pieces for the Build
For the sniper build, you first need a precision rifle with devastating base damage. The fire rate doesn’t matter, as one shot should be enough to take down an enemy. For this, choose a M44 sniper.
For the mods, make sure to focus on headshot damage and critical hit damage. Particularly recommended is the mod “Omega Rifle Suppressor,” as it grants you about 16% additional headshot damage.
Your weapon must have three talents that are essential for the build:
- Provident: The last bullet of a magazine deals 60% more damage.
- Proficient: The first bullet fired outside of combat has an additional 50% chance to score a critical hit.
- Competent: Weapon damage is increased by 10% for 15 seconds after using a skill.
Especially the 60% more damage from Provident is huge.
For the gear sets, you should focus on three pieces from Hunter’s Faith and Reaper. The bonuses from both 3-piece sets are critical:
- +20% headshot damage.
- +10% damage to enemies not in cover.
Otherwise, focus on firearms and stamina for your attributes. The armor pieces should provide bonuses to armor value. The gloves can add additional precision rifle damage and critical hit damage.
Your skills are First Aid with Injections and Pulse with Tactical Scanner.
Among the character talents, Tactical Advantage is powerful: moving from cover to cover increases weapon damage by 2% for each meter traveled for 10 seconds.
If you utilize all these advantages, it is even possible to eliminate the toughest agents with just one shot. In the test, WOBO takes down another agent with 505,000 toughness by activating explosive rounds, utilizing “Provident,” making a cover-to-cover movement, and using both skills. Using a special skill is not necessary but could further increase the damage output.
However, bear in mind that many agents have significantly lower toughness values. You can also take them down with one shot with less effort.
