In The Division 1.6 we present a “Best Build” for PvE. This is particularly suitable for solo agents.
The AlphaBridge dominance is over since update 1.6. Now the agents are looking for new, strong builds that allow them to tackle the fresh challenges well-equipped.
An interesting build that you can recreate is provided by Disturbed Gaming. In the video, he presents what he considers the “best solo PvE DPS build.” This is said to be extremely good in terms of damage output and survivability. So you not only deal good damage but also stay alive longer.
How to recreate the PvE build
This build pursues two main goals, suitable for solo agents:
- Deal a lot of damage to enemies.
- Increase your own survival chances. After the changes to armor, you need to find new ways to stay on your feet longer. This is especially a challenge for solo agents.
The armor pieces for the build
To achieve these goals, focus on this gear:
- Mask: Path of the Nomad – with bonuses to enemy armor damage and damage against elite
- Gloves: Path of the Nomad – with bonuses to critical hit damage, enemy armor damage, and assault rifle damage
- Chest: Striker – with bonuses to hit points and enemy armor damage
- Backpack: Striker – with bonuses to hit points and ammo capacity
- Holster: Striker – with bonuses to reload speed
- Knee Pads: Striker – with bonuses to hit points and damage against elite

With the 2-piece bonus from the Path of the Nomad, you gain +15% hit points on kill. This means you take down an enemy and regain some of your hit points. Since you are not as “tanky” in 1.6 as in 1.5, this is an important bonus to stay alive. As you deal a lot of damage with this build, you kill enemies quickly and benefit even more from this gear set.
With 4 pieces from the Striker set, you gain +20% stability, +10% enemy armor damage and the talent that each consecutive hit deals 1% more damage. The bonus can reach up to 100%. Missed shots reduce it by 2%. The bonus decreases by 1% per second. When applied correctly, this significantly boosts your damage output.
The main attributes in this case are:
The weapons of the build
These weapons are used:
- LVOA-C: This assault rifle is also powerful in 1.6. It has the talents Vengeful, Brutal and Malevolent. Alternatively, a G36 is also recommended as it has less vertical recoil.
- SASG-12 S – Black Market Version: Shotgun with Vengeful, Opportunistic, and Destructive.
For weapon mods, you should focus on headshot damage and crits. With the Striker set, you want to have as few missed shots as possible, so you may want to improve crits more than headshot damage.
Character skills:
- Pulse with Tactical Scanner: Damage increases on enemies that have been scanned.
- First Aid with Overdose: Heals more efficiently and can increase hit points beyond the normal value.
Character talents:
- Medical Assistance: A first aid kit at low hit points increases damage resistance by 20% for 10 seconds.
- On the Move: Killing an enemy while moving reduces damage taken by 15% for 10 seconds.
- Precision: A headshot on the enemy applies the Pulse effect.
- One is None: A headshot on the enemy gives a 50% chance not to consume the bullet.
