With the TLC Pass 2, the developers of the survival MMO ARK have now ushered in the next phase of their overhaul of the online game. Once again, dinosaurs are getting a facelift – not only graphically.
The graphical – and also gameplay – overhaul of ARK: Survival Evolved continues. Once again, a number of dinosaurs are getting a prettier appearance and their abilities are being revamped.
ARK is getting even prettier
In the second part of the TLC (Tender Love Care) update, the following dinosaurs are affected by the overhaul:
- Argentavis – Can carry two riders and its saddle functions as a mobile crafting station
- Parasaur – In “Turret Mode”, it scans for enemies and scares off smaller creatures
- Raptor – Strikes opponents and pins enemies to the ground; in packs, these creatures receive a buff
- Sarcosuchus – Can perform new attacks, including the death roll, in which enemies cannot move but take damage
- Spinosaur – Receives a buff in water and can attack on two or four legs
- Triceratops – Charges at its enemies and receives a buff when carnivores are nearby

More bug fixes in the future
In addition, the update also brings several bug fixes. The development team aims to focus more on bug fixes and optimizations for the game to make it more enjoyable to play.
The first TLC update already revamped several dinosaurs in ARK.
