What is Fortnite? You have probably heard of Fortnite before. The battle royale shooter drops you with up to 100 players into an area that keeps shrinking. You collect weapons, build obstacles, and try to be the last one standing.
How is it rated? You cannot find Fortnite in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You must download the mobile game from Epic Games. However, Fortnite is extremely successful. Even the mobile variant is very well received. So well that Epic Games had to include a warning for students, not to play during class.
What is the Pay2Win factor? Basically, you only buy skins for your characters, so they look different and more unique. There are also emotes through which you can communicate. However, some skins and emotes in the community are controversial, as they can make you harder to spot and allow you to quickly hide.
Who is Fortnite suitable for? Fortnite can essentially be played by anyone who likes shooters. The battle royale genre appeals to many age groups. However, Fortnite is particularly popular among younger players due to its colorful graphics.
