In Helldivers 2, players fight against rogue robots and ruthless insects to uphold peace and democracy. However, there are some among you who do not want to fight for the Over-Earth, but would rather annoy other players – and do so by foul means.
What are players complaining about? In Helldivers 2, players are currently actively fighting against the Terminites to activate the TKS (Terminite Control System). The battle is fierce, but the Helldivers are holding their own. One problem that players are currently venting about is their own teammates.
Many would assume that the stalkers are the worst enemies in the co-op shooter, but there are some Helldivers among you who are even worse. Intentionally shooting teammates, sabotaging missions, or suddenly being kicked from squads has become routine.
Many Helldivers find this very annoying as they just want to play and successfully protect democracy. The players have had enough.
Shot or kicked on the ship for nothing
What reasons do players provide? In a Reddit post by DoTortoisesHop, he shares that players have threatened to kick him from the squad if he continues to pursue objectives alone on the map. His behavior attracts more enemies, making the mission harder.
His post, with over 10,000 upvotes, has many comments detailing reasons why some players have already been kicked from squads. Reddit user Evil_Ermine lists several reasons why he has been kicked:
- Being level 47
- Picking up his own support weapon
- Calling a mech and destroying a nest
- Playing the mission
- Not reviving players because he is currently being chased by three assailants
He speculates that some players are just strange. Others, however, have had much worse experiences with Helldivers. They not only kicked them but also sabotaged the entire squad.
James_Maleedy reports that he kicked a player from his squad because this player was constantly sabotaging him while he tried to call in and detonate a hellbomb. At first, he assumed that this player wanted to carry out the act of destruction himself with the bomb, but the troublemaker continued to sabotage him, calling him an “ape,” until he was kicked.
User Ubergoober166 shares that he had already taken a seat in the Pelican with his two teammates to complete the mission. However, the last teammate who still needed to take a seat shot everyone in the Pelican and then selfishly sat alone in the shuttle.
This way, the squad not only lost the bonuses upon mission completion but also the samples that the team had collected throughout the mission. It’s an annoying problem that can only be resolved by blocking such players afterward.
Have you experienced such situations as well, or could you enjoy the world of democracy without troublemakers and complete all your missions in your career without sabotage? Let us know in the comments!
