The controversial subscription service for GTA Online is said to be expanding for a larger audience.
What kind of subscription is this? A few weeks ago, Rockstar Games introduced the paid subscription “GTA+”. Initially available only for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, the subscription offers certain benefits. Players are said to receive a monthly sum of money, along with cars, discounts, and additional bonuses.
However, the announcement of the subscription was not well received. Nevertheless, Rockstar intends to continue based on a job listing and is now looking to bring the subscription to PC players.
GTA+ on PC?
What’s new: On Twitter , videotech_, who deals with content related to Rockstar Games’ titles, writes that GTA+ is not going away. The team is currently looking for a product manager for it.
The job description also suggests that the service will eventually appear on PC. It states:
The subscription product manager will help drive the program and product strategy by implementing features in our own online shops, our PC application, and in-game stores, as well as stores with our game partners. […]

This is not a direct confirmation for GTA+ on PC, but it is very likely that they want to expand the service to this target group. However, as they are currently only looking for a product manager, the release on PC seems to be further away.
How the subscription is received: Our colleagues at GameStar write: Rockstar’s subscription service “GTA+” is more dangerous than you think.
Shortly after the announcement, the community thought it was a bad April Fool’s joke. Players couldn’t believe that the big announcement was not about more information on GTA 6 or new content for Red Dead Online. The relatively meager rewards for a price of €6 per month caused a bad mood.
We conducted a survey on MeinMMO regarding the new service for the game. Over 2,000 people participated and showed their attitude towards GTA+. Spoiler: You are not interested at all.
