The beta of Fallout 76 is receiving a patch just before the end. We summarize the contents of the patch for you.
Just before the end of the beta, there’s another patch: Although the beta of Fallout 76 is almost over, Bethesda is still delivering a patch. This one is quite large at 40 GB. So you should hurry with the download because the beta is ending soon. You can find all beta times in our overview. Here are the most important details.

40GB for Performance and Balancing
Especially on PC, the download size may upset some players, as a bug caused the beta to be deleted for some players right at the beginning. The patch is primarily intended to improve the performance and balancing of Fallout 76.
What changes in performance? Overall, the patch is supposed to improve stability and performance, and the optimizations are reportedly even “significant” according to the patch notes. Whether that is the case will only be seen once the servers are online.
What changes in balancing: According to the notes, several monsters have been revised. These include
- the Scorchbeast, whose mid and high-level versions now receive higher health points and damage resistances
- Super Mutants that are weakened in the mid and high-level range
- Changes to enemies. These generally deal higher melee damage in the mid and high-level range.
What changes in quests: Event quests now no longer start at 45-minute intervals, but rather after one hour and twelve minutes.
For other changes that the patch brings, you can read on the official page.

When do the last beta phases run? Today, on November 6, the beta runs from 7 PM to 9 PM. The last phase starts on November 8 at 8 PM and runs until 2 AM.
A week later, on November 14, the official release of Fallout 76 will finally take place. Accordingly, you can watch the live-action trailer.
