EA Sports FC 26 has just released perhaps the best team of all time: Zlatan FC. Zlatan Ibrahimović plays in all positions.
Zlatan Ibrahimović is a legend. The Swedish forward has become one of the most recognized figures in world football through iconic goals (25-meter bicycle kick against England), successes (countless championship titles in different leagues, European Cup winner, individual awards), and especially his unparalleled persona.
Ibrahimović is known for his unwavering self-confidence, his bold statements, and sometimes outrageous actions. Just think about how he moved to Los Angeles and booked a whole page in the LA Times just to write “Dear Los Angeles, you’re welcome” and leave his signature.
Or when he received a jersey from LeBron James, only to sign it and send it back. “Zlatanizing” has become a term in Sweden for absolutely dominating a situation.
Now EA has also acknowledged this side of “Zlatan”. They have made him not only the cover star for his return as an icon card – he is also getting his very own club.
Zlatan plays literally every position. And he is also the coach. Here is the trailer for that:
Zlatan in attack. And in midfield. Also defense and goalkeeper. And coach.
What does the lineup look like? Zlatan Ibrahimović addresses this in a press release from EA himself: “Zlatan is excited to finally showcase his skills in every area of the pitch. Fans no longer have to decide who to play in what position as they have the best player available – me.”
So there’s really no need to worry about that. What the team’s stats will look like is still unknown. However, we assume that with eleven Zlatans, it can only be the best team of all time.
Who sits on the bench is still not clear to us. Probably there is none, because Zlatan Ibrahimović does not sit on the bench.

Where can I play Zlatan FC? As of now, the club is playable in kick-off mode. How it looks with career mode or other modes is currently unclear.
It is quite a grand return for Ibrahimović to the series, after he was initially not able to play following his career ending. Also interesting is the look back to 2020 when Ibrahimović questioned whether he could even be represented in the game that was still called “FIFA” at the time. This at the time sparked a huge discussion regarding the representation of players in FIFA. However, it seems that there is now a consensus again.
