The orcs from Warhammer 40,000 may not be the most peaceful species in the universe, but they also find joy in racing – at least as long as it goes Boom. A racing game with the brutal greenskins currently costs only €9 on Steam, but you should hurry.
Which game is being talked about? The game is called Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks and is being developed by Cage Element Inc. The crazy racing game was released on May 22, 2025, on Steam and has only a few players, but they celebrate it wildly.
In Speed Freeks, you play as orcs who participate in brutal combat races against each other. You choose a ride – ranging from speedy racers to tanks and helicopters – and dive straight into the action. Moreover, you can customize your vehicles (or flying contraptions) with new paint jobs or parts.
You can get the game on Steam for €8.99 instead of the usual €19.99, but only until February 16, 2026.

Really good Ork racing game, yet without a large player base
What is the game about? You won’t find a story mode or anything similar here. However, there are three different game modes you can play solo with bots or in multiplayer.
- In the “Killarallye,” two teams alternately race and fight with their vehicles. The winner is the team that collects the most points.
- In the “Mördakonvoi” game mode, each team escorts a Stompa, heavily armed fortresses on two legs. Your goal is to slow down the opponent’s Stompa with bombs so that yours crosses the finish line first.
- In the “Kustom-Rallye,” you can play on maps created by other players – or you can be creative in the “Creation mode” and build a death track yourself from over 400 assets.
Regarding multiplayer, Speed Freeks currently has hardly any active players on Steam. In the last 24 hours, the peak of simultaneous players was just 31 (according to steamdb.info; as of February 14, 16:46).
Those hoping for lobbies full of players will be disappointed right now. However, those who don’t mind playing mostly with and against bots can still have a lot of fun here: Of over 340 reviews on Steam, 85% are positive.
