Black Noir’s true identity
In the comics, Black Noir closely resembles his series counterpart. He acts like a ninja in the shadows and does not speak. Unlike in the series, however, he hides a secret that creates a shocking finale: Noir is a clone of Homelander who has done all the terrible things he is accused of. Ultimately, he even kills Homelander.
In the series, there are even two Noirs, and particularly the second does not seem to have a real relationship with Homelander but rather serves as a substitute so the world does not ask where he actually is.
Noir is mainly used for jokes, but shows how powerful he is since season 1. Although the finale has not yet aired, it is not likely that they will rely on the comic twist, especially considering there is a new Noir. Nevertheless, episode 7 of season 3 is a big highlight, as it shows Noir’s psyche and his past with Soldier Boy.
