Those who purchase a ticket for BlizzCon will receive plenty of goodies in addition. In 2019, many wallets might be opened!
The BlizzCon is a true highlight every year for fans of World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, and Overwatch , as exciting new developments for the games are usually revealed here. In addition to the presentations of new features, there are many insider insights into the game creation process and often thrilling Q&A sessions where fans can directly speak with the developers.
To follow the whole event live, one must either be present on-site or purchase a Virtual Ticket. These tickets come with plenty of goodies and rewards in various Blizzard games. In 2019, these vary from “silly” to “pretty awesome” – we’ll present all known goodies so far.
All Rewards for the Virtual BlizzCon Ticket 2019
World of Warcraft: For World of Warcraft, there is a whole bunch of rewards, including a controversial goodie. Players of the retail version of WoW will receive:
- Stranduin, a Murloc pet resembling the human leader Anduin Wrynn.
- Krillvanas, a Murloc pet dressed in the typical attire of Sylvanas Windrunner.
- The cuddly Wendigo outfit, a transmog set that gives players a onesie look of a Wendigo. Quite silly, but surely a hit on cold winter nights.
Overwatch: Fans of Overwatch will enjoy two exclusive skins, which should please Warcraft fans especially.
- Symmetra-Tyrande: The hard light expert has donned the attire of the Moon Priestess and can now spread fear as the High Priestess of Elune.
- Genji-Illidan: Genji, on the other hand, apparently switched from one brotherly conflict to another and can now bounce across the battlefields of Overwatch as Illidan Stormrage, hopefully wielding a Glaive of Azzinoth to destroy opponents.
Hearthstone: Players of Hearthstone will receive an exclusive card back as well as a special golden legendary card. This card will be revealed only at BlizzCon, likely alongside the next expansion of the game.
Heroes of the Storm: For the MOBA, there are the “typical” rewards, similar to previous years. There is a unique crab mount as well as a spray logo and a profile picture in BlizzCon style.
StarCraft II: Players of the strategy title StarCraft II can look forward to 3 new profile pictures and skins from the classic Brood War. This means one skin each for the Zerg Ultralisk, the Protoss carrier, and the Terran battlecruiser.
Diablo 3: Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the rewards for Diablo III yet. However, it is guaranteed that there will be another set of special wings for players.
What does the BlizzCon ticket cost? The virtual ticket costs, as in the previous year, a hefty 40€. For that, you gain access to all streams on November 1st and 2nd, as well as the aforementioned goodies.
