Viewers alerted the streamer Stormfall33, who, like many others, was watching the event live with her fans. Her amused reaction has garnered nearly 90,000 views (as of June 7, 2025, 10:30 AM), making it not only the most viewed clip of the Summer Game Fest but also of the entire day on Twitch (via TwitchTracker). The post has since been edited and now leads to the actual game, but the memes will likely accompany Scum for quite some time. Some phrases from the announcement, such as “Endure Hardship” or “No Hand-Holding, Just Pure Endurance,” read somewhat differently in light of the linked account.
