The MMORPG Bless Online was released in 2018 as a great hope and was already discontinued in 2019. Now there are new details about a successor to the game, the mobile game Bless Eternal.
What is Bless Eternal? Bless Eternal is another MMORPG in the Bless universe. Although the PC version failed brutally not only here, but also in its home country Korea, the developer Neowiz continues to rely on the franchise.
Bless Eternal is, however, different from its predecessors as a mobile game. It has been in development since 2017 and is based on Unreal Engine 4. Additionally, it is expected to utilize ray tracing for more realistic objects.
According to the latest statement from the developers ThinkFun, the MMORPG has been built from the ground up, apart from some graphical content. And it can impress graphically in the previous videos.
Furthermore, the focus is said to be on group dungeons, where skill and cooperative gameplay play important roles.
Various Classes with God Forms
What does the mobile MMORPG offer? Bless Eternal focuses on the following content in addition to the dungeons:
- 4 playable races each with 5 classes
- Each class has its own god, in whose form players can temporarily transform
- Guilds that can be entered already at level 1 and can fight each other in GvGs
- Life skills
- Mounts
- Pets
The mobile MMORPG uses a combat system without direct target selection. However, there is supposed to be an option to activate auto-targeting.
What is the character editor like? In character creation, Bless Eternal uses “morphing technology”, where the appearance is changed with a finger movement according to choice.
Many details can be customized, although there are particularly limitations in the selection of character sizes or the number of hairstyles compared to good editors like Black Desert Mobile.
Global Release Planned
When will Bless Eternal be released? The mobile MMORPG is set to enter beta testing in Korea on March 20. There is currently no exact release date for this.
However, Bless Eternal is reportedly set to be released globally according to MMOCulture. A release is planned only when the game runs stable in Korea.
While the developer ThinkFun is responsible for distribution and servers in Korea, it seems that the publisher Joy City (according to MMOCulture) is responsible for the global market.
Will Bless Eternal come to PC? The same article from MMOCulture also mentions a PC version. However, it is set to be released only after the mobile MMORPG is running successfully.
