3. PS5 Design: What does the PS5 really look like?
This is what we know so far: So far, nothing official has been announced about the design of the PlayStation 5. Sony remains tight-lipped about the design of the new console.
There was a leak showing the PS5 dev kit, but many users did not like the design and it was satirically repurposed as a pizza holder.
It is not known whether the design of the dev kit relates to the official design of the PS5. It seems unlikely, as dev kits from previous generations never resembled the official console, except for the PS2.
What would we be happy about: Many fans, as well as we, would be pleased with a design. Microsoft had already announced the design of the Xbox Series X at the end of last year 2019. By now, even a developer explained why the Xbox Series X actually looks like a tower PC.
PS5 players are still waiting in vain. Therefore, many are tired of the speculations and just want to know what the new PlayStation will look like. And it is quite likely that Sony might reveal its final design soon.
