For a few days now, the new Crypto-Raids have been active in Pokémon GO. Many different monsters in their Crypto forms are ready as bosses to be fought and captured by you.

What happens on May 27 in Pokémon GO?
When does it start? The big Crypto-Raid event starts on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time. It will be active for ten hours and ends again at 8:00 PM.
What happens there? Niantic itself states that the event “Ascending Shadows” with Team GO Rocket reaches its peak at that time. During the ten hours, only Crypto-Raids will take place. Raids with “normal” raid bosses are not supposed to occur during this time.
