The PS5 offers you plenty of performance and a whole range of the latest games. However, the PS5 also has a weakness which is its limited storage space. Because the PS5 only provides you with 664 GB of storage, which is quite little in the long run.
Therefore, the most important upgrade for most PS5 players is likely to be an additional M2.SSD – unless it’s the second controller if you’re looking to play together with a partner or friends.

SSDs for your PS5 are available for around 100 euros
What do the current offers look like? Storage media such as SSDs, M2.SSDs, or memory cards are generally particularly cheap on Prime Day. This also applies to models that are suitable for your PS5. If you’re considering expanding your storage, you should check out the offers. For 1 TB, you pay around 100 euros; for 2 TB, you pay 30 euros more. The additional investment can be worth it if you want to have many large games installed at the same time:

The budget model from Netac performs well in some tests, but you’ll need to purchase a heatsink for around 10 euros as well.
If you want to be on the safe side, buy a model with 2 TB and you’ll be set for a long time. If you don’t have a PS5, you can also install the M.2-SSDs in your gaming PC, provided you have the appropriate slot.
