In Dragon Age: The Veilguard you have the choice between seven different companions that you can romance. MeinMMO wanted to find out in a survey who you would choose – here are the results of the vote.
What did we want to know? Anyone who wants to have romantic relationships in Dragon Age: The Veilguard must choose a companion. You can find more about the romances and how they work in a dedicated Romance Guide. We wanted to know whom you choose for your playthrough.
How did you vote? A total of 1,039 people voted on MeinMMO. The first place is quite clear with 27%, while the companions behind are fighting for a better positioning. Specifically, the ranking is as follows:
- Place 1: Neve Gallus (27 %, 282 votes)
- Place 2: Lucanis Dellamorte (19 %, 195 votes)
- Place 3: Bellara Lutare (19 %, 194 votes)
- Place 4: Lace (Borte) Harding (17 %, 179 votes)
- Place 5: Taash (7 %, 77 votes)
- Place 6: Davrin (6 %, 60 votes)
- Place 7: Emmrich Volkarin (5 %, 52 votes)
So far, so good, but let’s take a closer look at your choice.
What does your choice indicate? Basically, the romances have no special advantages or disadvantages. Whether you choose Neve, Bellara, or one of the others does not impact the overarching story. Therefore, the choice is subjective and probably depends on which personality appeals to you the most.
Nevertheless, especially Lucanis, Emmrich, and Harding undergo an interesting development in their story that can minimally influence your romance with them. The relationship with one of them is therefore a little more multifaceted than with the others.
With Neve in first place, the Shadow Dragons, one of the six factions, at least secure the first place in this vote. Anyone who romances her should also think carefully about the decision regarding Minrathous.
Lucanis in second place is not very surprising, after all, the member of the Crows of Antiva is distinguished by much charm and a cultivated demeanor. And he can cook extraordinarily well…
The gap to third-placed Bellara is very narrow. Only one vote separates them. Many of you were probably won over by Bellara’s initially bubbly nature.
The dwarf Harding managed to win 17% of you. The last three places are filled by Taash, Davrin, and Emmrich. All three join the group relatively late in the actual game, at a point where some of you may have already chosen someone else. But who could resist Emmrich and his necromancer skills? Quite a few in the MeinMMO community, it seems.
