Raids are the pinnacle of PvE in World of Warcraft. However, in the nearly 16 years of the game, there have been better and worse of these massive instances. We want to know just before the release of Shadowlands: Which raid is your favorite?
Raids are, along with Mythic Keystone dungeons, the greatest challenge in PvE for WoW players. In the past, up to 40 players were necessary, but today an average of still 20 is required.
Since the introduction of the LFR tool, pretty much every player has the opportunity to see these massive instances that hold some of the best loot in the game. However, not every player finds every raid to be successful.

Having already learned from you who the greatest villain in WoW is and which expansion you like the least, we now want to know which raid you enjoyed visiting the most or which one you simply find the most beautiful.
We present to you all raids from the past to choose from, from Classic to Battle for Azeroth. However, it’s only about the raids and not the expansions themselves. So if you’ve perhaps already stopped playing Classic, the Molten Core or Ahn’Qiraj can still be your favorite raids.
Raids that appear twice, such as Naxxramas, are listed separately for each expansion. Dungeons that can also be played as raids, like Grimrail Depot or Blackrock Foundry, are excluded.
You have only one choice, so you must specifically decide on one raid. It doesn’t matter whether you liked specific mechanics like the dancing in the upcoming raid Castle Nathria, the story, or just found the aesthetics the coolest: each of these criteria can be a reason to choose one of the instances. For easier navigation, we have listed the raids chronologically by expansion.
Which raid did you choose? What was your reason for this choice? Discuss in the comments!
With the upcoming expansion Shadowlands, a new raid will be released: Castle Nathria, which will open its doors as the first raid of the add-on. In our overview article, you will find all other important information and details about Shadowlands.
